Showed up one hour late. Brought no equipment to hepl complete tasks. When it was clear they wouldn't finish on time, we were quoted $80 by Anthony, who was on the phone with his boss, for an extra hour. We then received a request from the company for $130 for the extra hour. When unloading we found our washer, dryer, four diningroom table chairs and a rocking chair were damaged. All damage was a result of poor packing and not using the provided furniture pads and blankets. When this was brought to Makin Moves attention they said the photos I sent them didn't match the photos their workers took therefore we must have had someone else finish loading the truck. How laughable! Makin Moves has refused to stand behind the substandard loading job done by THEIR crew. Our first time using this company was a great experience so we didnt hesitate to use them again. It was sad to see the lack of care the crew showed in how our belongings were actually loaded on the truck.
