Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
They left our coffee table standing vertically, on a dolly, unattended, on a hill. It fell down with the wind and shattered. They told me they would work it out and to send them the receipt. I sent the receipt and they have ghosted me. Kept saying they would follow up and that they are going through the claims process but are now completely ignoring my texts and phone calls.
BJ and Ly were AMAZING! Seriously I can’t say enough about how professional they were, how well they packed that truck, how quickly and hard they worked to get the job done, never taking a break! Even when we had a slight (more than slight) emergency with a family member they were so concerned and helpful, making sure we got the truck unloaded at the new place! I hope I never move again because honestly to God it’s such a hassle but I will not hesitate to call on them again if I ever do! Ohhhhh and I also moved on a Sunday which was another reason I was impressed with how super nice BJ and Ly were because who wants to work on Sundays? Loved them!
