Our local helpers have been helping people move since 2002.
Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
They did a great job moving large items upstairs. Had requested to move multiple washer and dryers up and down stairs along with an entire 26’ truck. They were able to unload the truck in just under 2 hours. Would definitely hire again.
They initially assured us they could load everything within the allotted time, so they took their time and didn’t work efficiently. One mover was inexperienced, and they spent time joking around. Toward the end, they rushed, skipped using the furniture pads we provided, and some items were damaged due to poor packing. They overpromised and underdelivered, once time was up, they left, and we had to finish the job ourselves. Had we known they couldn’t complete it, we would’ve helped from the start.
