  I moved last week and I am still processing how frustrating this experience was with Herrison Moving Services. Their communication leading up to the move was poor, responses to texts took days, and I was unable to reach them via call. On moving day, the movers mistakenly went to my new address instead of the one I was moving from, causing a delay. When they finally arrived, I was surprised to learn that neither mover spoke English. This made communication extremely difficult and was never mentioned ahead of time. I spent a good amount of time using Google Translate just to explain basic instructions, time that should not have been counted against my total hours. Additionally, the movers worked slowly and showed little urgency. One of them out of shape making every task a 2 man job. In the past, I’ve used U-Haul and had great experiences with professional, efficient movers. Unfortunately, this experience was the exact opposite. I can’t recommend Herrison Moving Services.

  The movers were unprofessional regarding the way they handled furniture and did not appear knowledgeable about how to maneuver furniture in stairways nor through door ways. They were unmotivated to remove feet from sofa to assist in getting the couch in and out. They also stopped to take calls in between. When the service was done they hovered over me and pressed in my phone, as I was attempting to get their pay code. This made me nervous .
