• I would not recommend this company for moderate to large sized moves. We moved from a 2 bd apt, with 3 moving pods to unload. The positives- the movers were very sweet, polite, honest, and kind-hearted. I really do feel bad for writing a poor review. The negative- First, the 'moving time' I confirmed with Terrence was not communicated to the movers and they didn't know what time to show up. Second, Terrence confirmed if more moving time was required we could easily tack it on to finish the unload, but on moving day the movers said they had a hard out at 2 hours. Third, the primary mover was fine, but the 'helper' he brought was just clearly not right for the job. She had difficulty with the physical strength the job required. For a lot of the heavier equipment, the primary mover had to ask my husband for help. I'm glad he asked because I'd rather my furniture not get damaged and keep the move going, but still. Fourth, one piece of furniture was damaged. Fifth, house floors scratched.

• The movers were two boys, aged 16 and 18. Their assistance was okay, but they arrived at 12 25p, even though our scheduled time was 11a. We were informed that they had overslept. During my initial conversation with Terrance, he assured me that he would refund any unused time. We utilized the moving labor for 2.5 hours, although we had paid for 4 hours. We decided not to have their help with unpacking or assembling beds to save money, as Terrance had told us would be the case. His crew was late, which meant we had already begun loading without the help we had paid for. As I write this review, Terrance did not keep his word. Instead, he blamed U-Haul for a supposed change in the refund policy. While policies are important, as a business owner myself, I believe it's crucial to honor commitments made to paying customers and to address any shortcomings in service, such as being late. Terrance can't take responsibility for the situation. Stealing customers money by lying- you must need it

  I apologize for the issues, including the movers' tardiness and initial refund info. I corrected the refund details after clarifying with U-Haul. No money was stolen; you booked a service completed faster than expected, and a refund request cannot be honored after the completion code was issued. Our employees are of legal working age and have never had any complaints. The inappropriate nature of this review is concerning. We're improving our services and appreciate your feedback. You weren't obligated to continue when the movers were late, but the work was completed as requested. I'm committed to ensuring accurate information and honoring our commitments.
