Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Communication was minimal while coordinating the move but when the guys got there, they were ready to work, stayed very positive, which is so important when stressed about everything fitting into the size moving truck I picked, but they were reassuring, there was no standing around, they never complained about all the stairs from the 3rd floor, and they packed my uhaul to the brim in the exact 2 hours we scheduled. Everything fit! Very impressed!!
They arrived on time. One of them stinky alcohol sweat. I hired them for 4 hours but he rushed and finished in hour. The same stinky guy rushed the moving and was running. I asked him to be careful with unloading and moving the items as he dinged some walls and trims. All my boxes are labeled. He put 4 kitchen plates and glass on a dolly and moved them very quickly. I asked him to be very careful with these fragile plates inside the boxes. He dropped one box, and didn’t care to stop. He wanted to carry it from the bottom but he lost control due to his alcohol impact. He pulled the box from the top and it opened from the bottom and all plates and glass fell off and crashed. He wasn’t collaborating with his other mover. I spoke to the other guy and he was like I don’t want to deal with him he is alcoholic. I called Nate and sent him pictures and videos from all the broken glass and scratches on hardwood. Nate was profane and very unprofessional.He didn’t care.Stay away from this business
MY CREW TEAM WAS EXCELLENT. Definitely do business with this company if still selecting. I don’t give this type of credit or feedback lightly and warranted. My recent experience with another on the platform was extremely disappointing. This team came on time, friendly, focused and spatially on point.
