    Smooth Moves Nola

    So disappointed. They had great reviews, so I thought I couldnt lose. Boy was I wrong! They showed up too early (UHaul screwed up my truck rental, which put my behind). I gave them a tour of the house and showed them what was going on the truck. That way they could decide the best approach for packing the truck. But they didn't think, nor try. They just started at the front room and moved their way to the back. There was so much extra space on the truck, and when we pointed it out and made suggestions on what they could put in the empty spots, they ignored us. One guy stayed on the truck, while the other did the lifting and moving. Only HALF my belongings made it on the truck and told us 'just leave the rest behind, you can buy new'. WHAT?!?! They kept watching the clock. They also mishandled furniture (one guy moving heavy pieces on his own, dragging them), and scratched and damaged the hardwood floors. I had to UNPACK AND REPACK the truck myself. And I got everything to fit.
