I booked two movers for three hours with Flores and Family Home and Moving Services a week in advance. They asked me to move my time from 10 AM to 8 AM to guarantee availability, and I agreed. On moving day, at 7;20 AM, just 40 minutes before start, I was told they had no movers. I was left scrambling last minute. The situation became even more concerning when Hansel told me to send my UHaul payment code so he could refund me. This code is only meant to be used after a completed job to release payment. There is no legitimate reason to request it beforehand. He pressured me to send it, and I mistakenly did. He promised a refund in 5 minutes, but nothing came. After 30 minutes, I reported it to UHaul and followed up before finally getting my money back. This felt very scammy, canceling last minute, then trying to access payment without doing any work. I would avoid this company.
