  Rescue Moving Co.

  We hired this company to help us load for our long distance move. Let me say, the gentlemen that showed up were very kind. However, they showed up an hour and a half late (which then delayed my afternoon movers). They at least let us know they'd be late, 4 minutes before they were scheduled to show up. Within 5 minutes of moving, I had a broken piece of furniture. Other than that the load went okay.... I thought. Towards the end of our move, we weren't watching the packing of the truck because we thought they were packing appropriately. We then opened up the truck to unload and found one of our TVs underneath a stack of boxes. Ruined and not functional. Not tipped over boxes, not slid boxes, it was under a full stack of boxes. There's no way it was an accident. Very disappointed.

  Hands On Movers

  Overall the experience was good. The movers were scheduled to arrive between 9a - 10a and I received a call around 10a saying they were going to be about an hour late due to a vehicle breakdown. This was no big deal as it gave me time to stage more things. The movers were kind and they definitely know how to pack a truck. I've never seen anything tetrised into a space so well. Regarding the level of care for my things, I give them 4 stars. Overall everything was fine, but I did notice one of the movers put their shoes on my bare couch and fridge in an attempt to move it. If I were to need movers in the Buffalo area again I would recommend Hands on Movers.

  Moving Pros

  They were great! Communicated with me before on what time they'd arrive, and on the day of they came right on time. They were both really nice, professional, friendly guys and finished faster than I thought. I wish all movers were as easy to work with as them!
