Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
The men were thoughtful and respectful to me and my requests. They had to carry my sofa up a flight of stairs and were cordial when I asked that they not place the leather couch on its end and spin it to get through the door. They had to hold the couch up longer and take much longer to get the couch upstairs, but they did it without complaint.
My help was Paul. He was on time, professional, concerned about my safety and my wellbeing. He was alone and able to unload my pod quickly while still showing that he cared about my belongings and being personable. I don't plan to move again in this lifetime, but if I do, I hope Paul is available to help me. Thank you so much!
