  • Unfortunately communication from Valley Of The Sun and what seemed to be a likely third party moving company - An issue arose where the landlady was on-site supervising the move and I previously warned them that she was difficult and to be careful on the stairs - she claimed they damaged the stairs during the move I immediately addressed it with the lead mover whose name is associated with a moving business and I also immediately contacted Valley Of The Sun to ask what the process was for filing a claim. Both parties informed me to go through U-Haul but Moving Help referred me back to the Provider. I am completely unsatisfied with that response. Where the movers nice and professional, yes. However the lack of cooperation and response to my immediate issue of informing them of damage and requesting to advise on the process for filing a claim has been a complete run-around, pointing fingers at each other instead of actually addressing the issue has been abhorrible. Moving - Help also.

  • They were scheduled for 8am start. At 730am they called and said one of the crews called off so they were double booked and they couldn't come until around 11am. They arrived at 130pm. They loaded the uhaul and then we were heading to my new place to unload. They asked if ok to stop on the way to get food. I said sure. We are doing the same. 1.5 hours later they text they were on the way. They arrived 30 minutes later. Please note that my new place from my old place is only 15 minutes max. 2 hour dinner break and they show up and start unloading. They got about halfway done and said they were exhausted and could they leave and go home to sleep and come back at 8am to finish. I told them my uhaul was due back at 7am. They said that with fresh legs they could finish in 2 hours and they'd pay the fees for it being late. They never returned the next day and wont return calls or texts. Very unprofessional. I was left w half a truck and no help. Had to find new movers to finish.
