  Local Boys Movers

  These gentlemen were all over it. Communication was great. They actually care about doing a good job. I was really impressed. I work in construction and guys are often on their phones, dragging their feet, and clearly wishing they were somewhere else doing some other job. Not these guys. They did not pull out their phones the entire time until the end when we were processing the payment. I would hire them again with no hesitation. The other moving company I used to unload, because this was an out of state move, had 5 stars and is one of the highest rated on U-Haul website (in top 5) but I would absolutely not use the more famous ones ever again. They were kids who were on their phones, swearing, and carrying one thing at a time. Took forever, and I had to manage them. I did NOT have to manage Local Boys. The truck was so well packed I could have fit twice the amount of stuff into it. They take pride in their work. Highly recommended.

  Affordable Movers

  Movers arrived late, didn’t bring anything to drink on a hot day so one mover left during the move to go get drinks (later we bought them sandwiches and provided multiple bottles of water), put two large holes in wall and damaged multiple pieces of furniture. It was one of the mover’s first day on the job and it showed. He couldn’t handle the large pieces of furniture and was clearly over-heated and tired. Both movers were pleasant, but they weren’t prepared to do the job.
