  A STEP ABOVE MOVING

  These guys were great. Best movers I've hired through this site (and I've moved quite a bit...). They were friendly, personable, fast, and best of all, great packers. I've gotten helpers in the past who had no idea how to pack a truck efficiently, but these guys filled every space and got all of my stuff loaded, secured and ready to go. They were very careful about rubbing against walls with furniture in our narrow stairway and ensured that everything was wrapped to prevent any rubbing or damage in transport. I highly recommend A Step Above.

  Carlos and his son did a great job moving my refrigerated wine cabinet from one home to another. Carlos did an excellent job of leading the show from strapping it into the truck to caring up the stairs. They took very good care of my item. I would have given them 5 stars had he not showed up to my home smoking. I do not allow smoking in my home and several family members have asthma and are very sensitive to cigarette smoke. When they arrived at the second location, as soon as they opened the door to their vehicle I could smell marijuana. I have no problem with what they do on their own time, but I think it is very unprofessional to smoke anything when you know you are going to be going into someone's home. My family called me to complain of the house smelling like smoke. I really would have loved to give them 5 starts all around but I think you need to be aware that many people will find this offensive.
