The Good) Dan reached out very quickly to confirm moving details, and was accommodating when the move had to be delayed 1 week. The crew arrived on time and completed the task within the alloted time. The Bad) The crew was fairly young and clearly inexperienced. They struggled and man handled most objects instead of using simple moving techniques like removing drawers when moving a dresser. There were so many bangs, crunches, and snap noises throughout the move, it was terrifying. The Ugly) The cree was completely unprofessional in their demeanor towards each other, often swearing and using other foul language. At the end of the move, the remaining items were totes that were thrown down the ramp and and dropped onto the garage floor. Several items were broken including dishes and 2 antique spinning wheels. To top it off, it was later discovered that a vintage Micheal Jordan card ($200-$300) had gone missing. Dan needs to fire entire crew.
The one guy, Tone, who showed up did a great job, considering. The company didn’t call me to tell me they were running late and was 1 guy short. I kept calling them to see if they were going to show up, and kept being told a 2nd guy was running even later, but never actually showed. I tipped Tone for staying a couple hrs later to help me, but I never planned on being the 2nd labor guy. The owner, to his credit, did refund me a third of the invoice.
