• At first the communication was good, while I was told that U-Haul had double booked their day, she assured me I would have 2 helpers at 9am. One guy arrived at 11am. He said he'd been called last minute. I called the owner and was assured that she had the rest of the crew there 'soon'. The guy started moving my stuff downstairs and it sat in the sun for two hours. I ended up starting to move stuff as well to try to get things moving. I am disabled and SHOULD NOT be lifting things but felt like I had no choice. The 'crew' arrived. A mother and her 3 teenaged children. They were rough with some of my stuff, and some Christmas ornaments were broken. I haven't been able to check the rest. We were not finished until 4pm. I had planned on using this company again for the 2nd part of my move but the owner won't return calls or texts. Apparently she's only interested in larger jobs, not apartments.

  Davis hauling and junk removal

• The moving company moved two-thirds of the items (reserved 3 u-boxes and they loaded two), didn't bring us the third box as agreed, disappeared. Wouldn't answer our call or reply our texts.
