Calling them professionals is like calling a toddler with a plastic shovel a professional sandcastle builder. They both move stuff around, but accomplish zero results! Late does not begin to describe their tardiness. They confirmed they would arrive between 2-3 pm. Instead they arrive after 4 pm! They do so without any tools or work gloves and without apology. During what they made to be a arduous process of moving a sectional sofa, they put a hole in the wall. I had provided instructions on where the furniture and wardrobe boxes were to be unloaded. Only the sectional sofa made it to the proper room, with a number of boxes and other items never finding their place on the second floor. Aside from the few large items they carried (albeit muddled), I would have been the better to ask friends and family to do the job.
I DO NOT recommend these movers! This was unload only. The first thing the head guy said upon arrival was that he was tired so it would probably take longer to get unloaded. The movers who loaded the truck took 4 hours going up and down stairs. The two unloading took a break to eat 45 minutes into the job. Then an hour and a half into the job told my mother they were leaving to take a lunch break. She mentioned their first work break. The head guy told her, I own my own business so I’ll do what I want. Well no, I hired them to do a job so they work for me, the customer! Upon their return I heard arguing. Head guy was very unprofessional and arguing with my parents when they confronted him about their lack of work on this job. Items were broke and others damaged. I then called my brother. He, his kids, my 79 year old father and I ended up helping get the truck unloaded. Lack of efficiency and professionalism lost them a tip. Thousands of $ in damage to high end furniture!
