Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
The guys did a great job. I wasn’t sure I had a big enough truck but the manage to get everything loaded neatly and safely. They worked hard from the time they arrive til the time they left even with it starting to rain towards the end. I would definitely recommend and use their services again.
Isa and his team were phenomenal. They confirmed the order quickly, texted when en route, arrived on time, listened carefully to what needed to be unloaded and where it needed to be placed and were super friendly as well.
The team from GTC was friendly and incredibly fast. In terms of communication, I received a text confirmation right after I booked (like several weeks in advance) but then no other communication initiated by GTC until the helpers arrived. This may just be their process, but I think an additional call, text, or email confirmation the day before or so would be helpful to customers. Shawn did contact me a few times the day of the move about 2 different things and I really appreciated him keeping me in the loop on those. One of the movers was about 20 minutes late but the other 2 were right on time! They worked very hard. I did have one item damaged during the move (a large gash on the top of a wooden vanity) which I'm disappointed by, but it happens. Overall I had a pretty good experience with GTC. Cash tips were provided on the day of service.
