After e-mails, texts, and a call confirmation of the meeting time, I was disappointed that the movers arrived over an hour and a half late, delaying my departure time for a 10-hour drive to Florida. When I asked the manager or dispatcher what was happening, he made up some poor excuse of someone's car breaking down, yet he never bothered to warn me in advance of the delay. When I urgently requested a replacement, he gave me an attitude, as though I were inconveniencing him on a Sunday. When the movers finally did arrive, they did a good job; they were quick, professional and friendly (so I tipped them), but their manager had poor customer service skills. Don't commit a time to customers, and not make it happen, let alone have a bad attitude when your staff doesn't show up. If you need people to show up by a specific time, as agreed to by management, and if you want professional management that has good customer service speaking skills, then I suggest hiring someone else.
