Innovative Moves
One big guy showed up on Saturday, didn’t do the job of getting 5 pieces of furniture from a packed storage unit. Claimed Uhaul has a one pod one guy policy then said give me the code for his 3 hours of work, then demanded $400 overtime in cash or Venmo. Total scammer, but he had all our stuff on his truck. Uhaul chose and sent this scammer William DeArmond, church pastor, but won’t refund the $400 scam money. When I called Innovative Movers owner Constance Leach, William answered the phone and said that’s me. Lied about everything. Police report made. Uhaul refuses to refund the scam. The next movers they chose to do the job on Sunday had a non existent phone number, but Uhaul charged me $437 to rebook them. Monday, one lone Uhaul manager cancelled the second scam mover (Zco) booked a fantastic team (Motive Movers!) who did the whole job to perfection in 90 minutes on Monday. Innovative Movers were a nightmare as was Zco. Uhaul buyer beware
