Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
The movers were an hour late, so my dad and I ended up moving 90 percent of the items ourselves. We paid for 2 hours of work, and only needed them for an hour once they arrived. The way they loaded the truck left too much empty space at the opening of the truck, so by the time we got an hour down the road, we had to pull over to fix furniture that fell over.
This crew was professional, hardworking, and respectful from start to finish. They worked efficiently, handled all items with care, and maintained a positive attitude, even though we were having to load in the rain for a portion of our move. Their teamwork and positive attitudes were impressive and helped make a challenging and streessful day run much smoother. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing moving help!
Akash maintained good communication throughout, he was pleasant and upbeat, I am appreciative of him accepting the same day unloading request (after our previous 2 Uhaul movers didn’t respond). However they were unprepared, uncoordinated and unorganized. Partner seemed unhappy about the work, telling us we had too many boxes, attempted to stack boxes clearly marked Fragile.
