• Asked for a 10 Am start time. Learned later that they had a 3 hour window, which is very long. I communicated in a text that I needed best guess on when the labor would show up as I had scheduled movers at the destination point. I was told that morning the labor would be there around 11 AM which was fine and reasonable. At 1 PM I reached out yet again for a time estimate and was told the guys would not arrive until around 2 PM, which is what happened, which was 4 hours later than my requested time and 3 hours after what I was told that morning. That is unacceptable.

  Our 3 hour arrival window is highlighted, and in capital letters. There is no way to not see it. Unfortunately we've found that it's a common occurrence that people tell us in writing that they have read, understood and agree to the 3 hour window - a period of time we know we nee to be able to offer the service - and then complain about the 3 hour window on the day of service. It is unfortunately one of the many aspects of hybrid moving that are just going to remain always a problem because we leave the planning and organization of the move up to the client - they end up planning things with no leeway or give time and then become upset when the world does not run like a Swiss watch and the normal issues and delays that arise cause their plans to not work out as they originally intended. While we are transparent about this, we find it doesn't really help much. People do as they will do. We are simply there to offer labor support.
