  • Communication was good over text before the move but the people who came to help with our unloading were not able to speak much English at all. They did do their best to unload everything but I found them to be on the slower side and a bit inefficient. They also arrived late because they could not find my address and I had to communicate with them (while they spoke little to no English) and explain how they were in the wrong place. After the fact, their boss asked us to pay an extra 100$ because they went 1 hour overtime which was not true as they went only 30 minutes overtime after arriving approximately just as late. I cannot deny that they got the job done and handled our furniture carefully but they seemed quite amateur and needed guidance quite a few times. After explaining they did not request the extra 100$ but I found that in general quite unprofessional especially since they requested this as an eTransfer which is completely unofficial.

Regarding the additional time charge, our record shows the total time on site included both the delay in locating the address and the completion of the unloading work. The overtime was calculated based on the actual working time on site according to our service policy.
