    They were late. They dawdled and appeared to be in no hurry at first. Spent first 4 hours loading first half of truck. After a visit from the boss, the magically moved faster and loaded the 2nd half in an hour and half. Constantly stopping to rest & chat, taking 10+minutes to arrange one hand truck load of boxes. Very slow and charged me for extra time. Didn’t even finish the job. Over 7 hours for a 3 bed apartment. Last year, it took two guys less than 4 hours to move my 3 bed apartment. Had to pay some neighbor kids to help me finish moving.

    There was a failure on the part of both movers to listen to our requests and instructions. Therefore, they packed the truck the way they wanted to with disregard to our requests, which didn't fully utilize the truck we had. In addition, they were careless with our wardrobe boxes by sliding them down the stairs upside down. One of the boxes was damaged beyond use. We had 48 furniture pads and they failed to see a need to use any of them which allowed some damage to items and our need to go back and rearrange and cover items.
