The baby grand piano that I’ve had since I was 15 years old. I make a living teaching piano. It is completely butchered. They dropped it on the concrete steps at least once, and then dragged the piano on concrete, key side down with no pads or protection whatsoever. I then had to run to physically hold up the piano for them when they entered the house to keep them from dropping it again on my floor. I then had to physically keep them from trying to lay it bellyside down which would have both destroyed the pedaling mechanisms as well as the floor. They also damaged the concrete steps, and left residue of the piano wood and finish in the concrete steps. The two men then went and sat on the stoop outside. One man appeared to be trying to contact his boss, while the other was loudly watching sports and other things on his phone, all without saying anything to us. The one man then finally tried to use translate to communicate with me on what to do next. UHaul won’t refund!
