I hired Onops very last minute, and appreciated their prompt communication. The movers were overall very nice. One, however, was on his phone often, which got old fast. This is a 2 hour job-can't it wait? I do think he tried to make sure it didn't slow him down, but it just shouldn't have happened. The things they were moving had just come from another house, where I had also hired movers. There was a major difference in the handling of the furniture, and I felt these movers were not as experienced. They seemed to be trying their best, which I appreciated. However, furniture got dinged (relatively minor) and they took a decent amount of time to sort out the best way to handle some of the work. Even with me chipping in, they still went over time. It may help to pair experienced with inexperienced movers next time around. Otherwise, we had a chance to chat afterward, and they were incredibly nice guys doing their best. With a bit more experience, they'll have a system down in no time.
