Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
The communication with this company was excellent leading up to move day. The two helpers showed up right on time and were able to get the job done in the amounted time slot. They coordinated perfectly with us as we worked together to get everything loaded and unloaded.
Awesome guys. Showed up early and got the work done fast. Highly recommend.
Comms & Professionalism - I was not clear if the moving help I booked would be present, as I reached out to them to make confirmations, and they did not; no message or call day-of to reassure me that I was on the docket as planned. But when they did show up, I was grateful! Handling - Work went as quickly as it could, so far as I can tell. They brought one hand truck, and handled most things with care. Damaged a couple of things, which was somewhat expected (see more below). Character - Good manners, good humor! As a smaller-sized, female-bodied person, I felt safe - there were zero moments of creepiness or concern for my safety. In both cases of damage, however, they made no mention of it happening, we discovered damage later. Cost - Price was on the lower end of average. Payment process went smoothly; no pushiness, just a couple of guys aiming to get paid fairly for their time and labor. Expectations - I'd say we got what we anticipated; would consider using them again.
