• We had expensive items damaged during our move due to the mishandling during the loading and proper handling of our belongings. My great grandmothers China hutch arrived with the glass doors broken that we repeatedly told them needed to be carefully taken care of. It was an heirloom that can’t be replaced. My son’s tv was cracked, and the leg to our only living room furniture, a couch, was broken off. I spoke to the mover before arriving, and told him all the furniture that was to be moved, and he knew we had reserved only 2 hours. When he showed up, he came with a very young, under 20 years old, and small and inexperienced helper, although I was paying $120 hr. He then told me my job was an eight hr job, so I could either agree or they could leave. The younger helper was constantly on his phone and standing around. When we did agree to pay them for the extra hours, and they were working, they were helpful and friendly.

  Unfortunately this happens when we came to a load 2 hour job and got hit with 5 hours extra work no ratchet strap or rope only blankets and pillows we should be ready for everything so we will take this a a learning lesson we tried our best with what we had to work with
