  • The movers from Taylor & Sons were generally helpful, but there were several issues during the move. The first major issue was that the movers showed up an hour and 20 minutes late, which meant that I had to start my drive to Michigan that much later. The crew also seemed pretty tired when they showed up. Not sure why, but they definitely didn't seem entirely up to the task. I would say that two of the three movers were very conscientious and helpful. The third mover seemed distracted by personal issues and ended up yelling at someone on the phone for a long time. I realize that people have issues to work through, but it scared an older woman in the apartment building who ended up reporting it. The most surprising thing about the move was that the movers did not have any tools to take furniture apart. I've never run into this issue with movers before, and it required me to dig through already packed boxes to find my own tools. I ended up doing a lot of the work.
