• Sunday night, I scheduled the move for Wednesday, but wasn’t able to schedule a time on the U-haul website. Tuesday evening, I called U-Haul to find out what time the movers would at my apartment and was told that the moving company should have contacted me to arrange a time. I did get a number for the moving company when I booked the move, so I called them and arranged a time. I booked 2 movers for 2 hours at $70 an hour, totaling $140. When the mover arrived, there was only 1 instead of the 2 I’d booked. Due to not having the extra mover, the process ended up taking 2.5 hours instead of the originally-booked 2 hours. During the process of moving everything from my apartment, to the lobby of the building, to the U-Haul truck, my TV disappeared. I’m not sure if another resident picked it up out of the stack of items being moved, or if the mover took it (he didn’t seem like the type to do that though). I just know it’s not in my things.
