  • Terrible experience! We booked 3 movers, but only 2 very young, inexperienced workers showed up. They were clearly overmatched by the physical demands of the job and worked at an incredibly slow pace. We actually had to step in and work alongside them just to ensure our furniture wasn't damaged and to make our elevator booking on time. Manager Charlie arrived 90 minutes late and didn't bring a 4th person until 2.5 hours into the job. He then tried to charge us more for the extra help we only needed because his original crew was so unprepared and short-staffed. Worst of all, despite the job finishing early based on our person-hour payment, Charlie pressured us into paying $45 cash for GST. This is a total violation of U-Haul’s terms, as all payments must stay on the platform. Between the minor damages and the unprofessional run-around, this was a nightmare. Charlie ignored my private messages to resolve this. Save yourself the stress and hire a professional crew that follows the rules.
