Our local helpers have been helping people move since 2002.
Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
The movers were fine and nothing major happened. Three of the four men were outstanding, however the fourth was worthless and only was interested in his phone. They also never confirmed with us and showed up three hours late forcing us to extend the rental on our UHaul truck.
These guys were amazing! Thank y'all for everything!
Scheduling communication was great and they showed up on time. My 2 uboxes were delivered and unloaded quickly. Only concern or issue I had was the night before they informed me there was an additional charge for a heavy piece, which I had informed them on my initial contact and reminded them of the night before. There was no place for me to identify what I was moving to determine if there could be an upcharge and I've never had a moving company charge additional for this particular item. All costs for the service should be identified upfront when the reservation is made, not the night before when my hands are tied. Should note, this was listed as a Piano move (by the moving help representative) but I did not move a piano.
