  • The job was to move a full truck into a storage unit on the second floor. They arrived on time and began the move.   • Horrendous experience. Booked a 2-person crew for a 9AM garage move. Only 1 worker showed. Discovered a loophole when I raised this, where a 1-person crew costs $80 vs $85 for 2 people. The lone mover worked hard, but couldn't finish. Owner convinced us to finish off-site. The new crew arrived late at 220PM. Due to delays, I made a written agreement with the owner to pay the next evening, Aug 1. Owner agreed in writing and sent an invoice due Aug 30. Despite this, at 11AM on Aug 1, the owner and a worker swarmed our new home. They slammed on the door with booming thuds for 10 minutes and screamed 'theft of services' in the street. We called the police. Police reviewed our contract, confirmed no theft, ordered them off our property, and issued a criminal trespass warning. Paid them that evening as agreed. The laborers worked hard, but the owner's intimidation tactics, breaches of contract, and pricing loopholes are unacceptable. Stick to established, professional movers.

    Thank you for your review. However, several statements are inaccurate. There was no pricing loophole. Our promotional rate was $85hr for 2 movers Because only 1 mover was initially available, we reduced your rate further to $65hr and later sent additional movers to complete the job. No one stood in the street screaming theft of services. The entire interaction is documented by cellphone video and law-enforcement body camera footage. I personally contacted police regarding the unpaid services, and the officer addressed the payment issue directly, he will arrest you if unpaid. I strongly disagree with the description of what law enforcement confirmed. We acknowledge the staffing delay and understand the frustration it caused. However, we worked to complete your move, discounted your service, and ultimately received payment. We appreciate you acknowledging that our movers worked hard, but inaccurate statements regarding our pricing and conduct should be corrected.
