Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Nice guys, they worked hard and their price was fair. Showed up an hour later than originally agreed. Smelled of weed on arrival. Forgot to load items from attic. Left half an hour early because they thought they had loaded everything and they were very late for their next job. Not the most efficient use of space in our Uhaul U-boxes but they did ok. Just need to work on time management.
The overall experience was poor, would not recommend as movers except you want your items broken. I tried to give instruction to the movers to ensure that things went smoothly, but they proceeded to ignore them and do what they saw fit. A box with my items fell down and items were broken as a result of it. They also claimed once I contacted them, that these were broken prior to the move which was disconcerting because it was not true. So all in they don't follow instructions and secondly are not completely honest.
