Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
They moved my two bed, two bath from Portsmouth to Norfolk within 4 hours. I've used these guys twice now and each time they've communicated well with any schedule modifications that needed to happen, and gave great service during the move.
This team is incredible! Excellent communication upon reservation booking, courtesy check-in the day before the move, then very prompt communication before the start time. They were very professional as they walked the property first to get an idea of what they needed to move and they gave great guidance on how we could prepare our packed boxes for them to place on the truck along with a large items. They took great care wrapping the furniture to ensure no damage. I was nervous that my 15 ft was not going to be large enough, however these two guys must be Tetris grand masters as everything fit perfectly with some room to spare. What I appreciated most was that they took great care to read the labels on our boxes and Ikea style blue bags taking note of when something from fragile or should only be stacked on top. Upon unpacking tonight everything was perfect with zero damage. I was very impressed with their speed as we hired them for 2 hrs and will definitely hire them again!
