Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
The helper I booked showed up on time and was polite, but he immediately said he had a back injury and couldn’t lift or move properly. I appreciated that he still came, but U-Haul should not send someone who is physically unfit for the job. I felt bad for him and didn’t want to push him, so I ended up doing most of the work myself. It was a stressful and disappointing experience overall.
Schedule for 1130 AM confirmed the day before and the day of and did not arrive until 2PM. The owner had a nasty attitude the entire time and had the nerve to try to leave early and rush us for the pay code. The worse of all the companies I have used through uhaul. I would not recommend them and will never use them again.
