Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
They were GREAT! On time, flexible, and worked very well with the timing of me coming from out of state. I am a young single girl and was just with my dad. I felt safe and taken care of from the start! They even had to move my boxes down a very long route to my unit and continued to work SO hard until the very end. Would recommend 100!!!
We thought everything was great (except for one dresser they broke, but we were planning to get rid of it anyway). They communicated well and were friendly and efficient. BUT my daughter’s wallet, which was sitting on the counter, went missing. I don’t know exactly when, but it was there before and during the move, and not there when we looked a bit later. At first I didn’t want to assume it was the movers, because I really liked them (and tipped them $100 cash), but her credit cards started being used almost immediately, and attempts are still being made on them a week later. We thought maybe it accidentally got swept into the trash, but there were a gazillion trash bags in the dumpster and none had been gone through, so at this point I can only assume it was our movers.
Helpful team. Recommend using them again. Good with furniture that is too difficult for most movers. They can set up adjustable beds and deal with complex situations.
