  • While the two people who came to help me seemed nice and personable, they weren't great at Tetris. We were unloading my truck into storeage, and they did the exact opposite of what I had asked, and put the big furniture in last, obscuring access to boxes. They also placed boxes with right-side-up arrows upside down, ignored the Fragile markings on boxes, and overloaded the carts. I had to show them how to put boxes in the shelves! I had to supervise closely, and ended up going back to the unit with a friend to move everything around and re-arrange it the way I'd asked them to originally. Even my friend remarked that there didn't seem to be much awareness of what they were moving or how to stack it for storeage. Definately a disappointing experience, and unfortunately I wouldn't recommend them or hire again. Which is too bad, cos I'll need help when it comes to moving things out of the unit in a few months.

  • I was really happy to work with this company for my move. When my U Box arrived 4 days earlier than anticipated they accommodated my request to move up my services so I could sleep on real furniture. There was excellent communication and I felt that they were a very reliable service. I would recommend this service!

  • The communication was an issue from the minute I booked. I received about 4 calls over the few weeks prior to my move, constantly getting asked to change the time I booked for. The time was available to book, therefore I didn’t understand why I kept being asked. I was told the movers would arrive with a dolly which they did not, making the move incredibly more difficult and slow. I had to add additional time because of this and pay out of pocket, and was only given an extra 25 minutes of labour because of this. To top it all off, they ripped a hole in our brand new mattress which was protected, and when I sent a photo to the manager I was speaking with - I’ve had no response. This was almost a week ago now. TERRIBLE communication and very poor customer service. I would not at all recommend this company.
