  • Be warned- the hourly rate on Moving Help is low- but they will charge you extra $100 to move dressers, full bed, small couch, table &chairs. Somehow the order was marked complete before it was done. Seems it was the fault of Moving Help. The movers would not come until resolved which is understandable. But when it was resolved Addys said the movers would be there in 52 minutes. A few hours later - no movers. I reached out to Addys (they communicate through texts) They said movers were on their way but they would get a new eta for me. I did not hear back for another 30 minutes. At that point they said 5 minutes away. The first worker showed up and he told me he just got the call 10 minutes ago. About 20 minutes later the second mover came, also saying he just got the call, he has never done this before, but they asked so he came. On a positive note, the experienced worker took his time explaining to the new guy the best way to move certain items. Both workers respectfull.

    Hi Diane, when our movers were ready to head to you, your order disappeared from our portal because it had been marked completed before the move took place. U-Haul called us and confirmed that someone on their end had made the mistake. With the order missing, we could not access it or enter a payment code. Resolving this issue took approximately an hour and disrupted the original dispatch schedule. We initially declined to proceed because of the delay, but agreed after U-Haul asked us to continue even though your order was still missing from our portal. Thank you for recognizing that both movers were respectful and handled your belongings carefully.
