• The movers caused significant damage while unloading my furniture. They put two holes in the wall going up my stairway with the couch, and they scraped the walls on both the first and second flights of stairs. The work was careless and has left my landlord very upset with the damages. I paid over $400 for what should have been a simple two-hour unload, and the service was unacceptable. I now have to repair the walls with spackle and paint due to the damage they caused, and I expect compensation to cover these costs. I also have pictures documenting the damage. Additionally, the movers repeatedly claimed the couch would not fit and continued scraping the walls, all while reminding me that their time was almost up. I ultimately had to help push the couch myself despite a pelvic injury, which made their presence nearly useless. I am very dissatisfied with this experience and would like to discuss how this situation will be resolved.
