I have an e-bike that weighs 50lbs. The max weight listed on the description says 90lb max, but I saw in one of the Q&A that the max weight is 45lbs. Is that amount a per-bike amount? What is the discrepancy?

–Amanda 11/3/2020 6:50:06 PM

Hello Amanda, The 90lbs is the total weight capacity. So if you had 1 E-Bike at 60 and 1 Regular Bike at 30, it works. Thanks for your question!

What’s the maximum length from center of wheel to center of wheel?

–JC 9/13/2020 6:42:21 PM

Hello JC • Fits 20-29" wheels up to 3" wide. Have a good day.

Hello, I own a 2013 Chrysler 200 Convertible limited, is it posible to put the top up and down with the SportRack Crest Platform Hitch still there? Or do I need an extension? Thanks!

–Pauline N. 6/5/2020 5:18:30 AM

Hello, Pauline! There cannot be bikes on the rack and the mast has to be down. I hope that is helpful!

The sportrack crest says the center mast tilts down to load bikes. Does the swagman part 64650 do the same?

–Annette 1/27/2020 1:48:31 PM

Hi, Annette! Swagman 64650's does not tilt the same way that the Sportrack Crest does, but the center arms do fold down for rear access and easy storage. I hope that is helpful!

–Savannah 1/27/2020 2:33:10 PM

What’s the difference between this bike rack and the swagman part #64650?

–Annette 1/26/2020 4:02:33 PM

Hello, Annette! The Sportrack Crest can hold more weight per bike (45 lbs. max) than the Swagman 64650 (35 lbs. max) can. The Sportrack Crest is also compatible with only 2" receiver hitches, while the Swagman 64650 can be installed on either a 1-1/4" or 2" receiver hitch. I hope that is helpful!
