Used this on my last move and it worked great - easy to assemble around the TV, good protection during a 400+ mile drive (including a detour down a road that had more potholes than pavement), and easy to unpack at the other end. I'm moving again, and will be using this again.
I am shipping the TV via sea out of the country, what box should I use?
All of our TV box kits are designed to protect during a move. None are designed for "shipping" use. Thanks.
Does the box adjust 32-50 or is it a fixed 50"
"The kit has two free standing end posts that can move in and out depending on the width of the TV." a.b.
What is the approximate weight of the assembled box without the tv?
18 pounds.
I have a Flat screen TV that is classified as a 52 inch TV and actually measures 57 inch diagonal. However the total width of the TV from side to side is 48 inches and total height from bottom of stand to top of TV is 33 inches. Am I correct in assuming the TV is too big for the U-Haul large flat screen TV kit? Seems that way.
I am sorry. Your TV is too big for this box. You need a FSTVL.
Can this box be checked on a plane?
It can be checked, but it is not recommended.
