Customer Reviews Chair Covers

Charles T.
Rating:

keeps chairs clean

Laurie A.
Rating:

the movers said they were slippery and they didn't cover the chairs fully. They were short.

Tatyanna P.
Rating:

This was functionally useless for the tall-backed rocker/recliner for which I bought it, but I imagine it would have done fine for something less sizeable. I ended up shrink-wrapping my chair instead.

do they fit recliners?

–katie stewart 5/26/2014 8:50:51 AM

My apologies. I would need to know the size of the recliner to determine if this product at 76" x 42" will work. Thanks.

–Ronald 5/27/2014 8:53:13 AM

How thick are these bags? 1 mil? 2 mil? Thanks

–Eddie 6/15/2014 12:54:17 PM

"2.0 mil."

–Ronald 6/17/2014 9:56:08 AM

–Jo Ann 6/28/2014 9:07:13 AM

–Ronald 6/30/2014 12:22:51 PM

Should a chair covers be used instead of a quilted pad when storing for long term storage (3-4 months) in a storage facility?

–JT 2/18/2015 4:58:10 PM

A chair cover would likely be better because it will form fit the chair more so than the quilted pad. However, it does matter what you're protecting the chair from.

If you're protecting from dirt, debris or bugs the chair cover is great. If you're protecting from damage to the chair, like other things in storage bumping into it, you may want the protection of the quilted padding. Thank you.

Would this protect the furniture if moved in the back of a truck in the rain ?

–Stephanie 5/29/2015 10:40:10 AM

The Chair Cover is a slip cover that can be taped around the bottom of a chair (depending on the size).

If you're looking for full coverage, you may want look at sealable mattress bags for all-around water resistance.

Does this cover 5 sides of the chair (top and 4 sides) or 6 (top, 4 sides and bottom)? Is it a flat sheet of plastic or does it have a 3-dimensional shape?

–Christine 6/15/2015 7:47:47 AM

Christine, this chair covers 5 sides (top plus all 4 sides).

The bag is also flat, and does not have a gusset so no, it does not have any 3-dimensional shape. Thanks for asking!

I have an oversized sofachair measuring 55Lx39Wx39H. Will this cover fit it?

–Ellen 8/11/2015 6:17:20 PM

Yes it will fit. I recommend using our Mover's Stretch Wrap to secure the cover to the chair as well.

–Joseph 8/28/2015 3:44:15 PM

Will this plastic cause leather or leather like chairs to sweat and ruin in storage?

–kimberly 5/28/2016 1:09:29 PM

When storing leather furniture, it is recommended that you use a cover that will allow the furniture to breathe.

A quilted pad or furniture pad is recommended when storing furniture for more than a few days.
