Our propane program manager writes: "Fom the manufacturer's website, they do indicate that the TRUMA Level Check product is " for all steel and aluminium LP gas tanks with a diameter of 7.9 to 13.8 in / 200 to 350 mm"

The TRUMA Level Check uses ultrasound to decipher whether or not there is propane in a tank.

All you have to do is place the TRUMA Level Check on the side of your propane tank in a horizontal position, then run it up and down the side of the tank until you get a reading. The point where you get the reading is the point your tank is filled with propane, letting you know whether or not it's time to fill up!
