The hitch balls can be lowered from the standard position, or they can be raised by inverting the ball mount in the hitch receiver. Plus, when the Tow & Stow isn't in use, it can be swung back under your vehicle, so you never have to worry about banging your shin or shutting the garage door on your hitch. The stainless steel pins keep all components in place while towing, and the guide pin prevents the swing arm from ever being detached while it's locked to your hitch receiver.
