Shipped within a week, looks like a very good quality product, well made and solid paint job. Haven't used it yet to tow with.

It is really nice I wish I had a pin to hold it in.

I can't even get this installed. I was under the impressions that this, coupled with the hitch kit, would fit on my 2006 Impala, but I can't insert it far enough to lock it in place with a pin. Even if I could, this thing would be right up against my bumper. I'm sure it's physically sound, but I can't install it to test it.

Do you have one that 6” high, in the 3500 lb class

–Joe Cohen 4/25/2023 8:30:12 PM

Hi Joe! We do have one. Part number 13116. It's a 7 3/4 drop however when you flip it, the rise is 6 1/2. That is the closest we can get to the 6. I hope that helps.

How high does the trailer tongue need to sit off the ground?

What size ball does a 12' cargo trailer need? 2"?

–Dave 4/27/2018 8:07:05 PM

Hey, Dave! The U-Haul 6' x 12' cargo trailer requires a 1-7/8" or 2" hitch ball with a 3,500 lb. minimum. Thanks for asking!

–Savannah 5/22/2018 8:54:37 AM

I have a 2015 Kia shortage looking to tow the motorcycle trailer I have a 11/4tow hitch would that fit the tel with a 2 inch ball

–Steve 3/27/2018 5:13:15 PM

Hello, Steve! Selecting the appropriate ball mount for your trailer will require measuring from the ground to the top of the 1-1/4" receiver tube on the hitch, and from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler when level. The difference in the two measurements will be the rise or drop needed. The U-Haul motorcycle trailer coupler measures about 18" when level. I hope that is helpful!
