Hi, I have two questions about this product. First, I see the max drop is 10", but what is the minimum drop? Also, can I raise the ball when my boat trailer is attached by using the jack on my trailer? I have a tall boat that doesn't fit in the garage with the 2" drop I use for towing, so I'd like to quickly lower it when I get home to fit the boat in the garage.
