Can I wrap mattresses with this wrap

–stacy 12/5/2013 7:16:00 PM

Because this stretch wrap will leave no residue and only sticks to itself, yes, you can wrap mattresses with it. And, this 20" wrap would be the correct choice of the sizes available.

I am planning on doing home renovations ...would this be the wrap I need to cover couches etc. to avoid them getting loaded with dust?

–Noreen D 1/20/2014 8:50:59 AM

This would certainly do the trick, although it may be work than using a sofa cover. Look under the Covers & Bags section of our site to get alternative solutions.

Approximately How many large items can I cover with this size roll?

–Liz 6/5/2014 5:24:33 AM

I am sorry. Without knowing the actual size of the "large items" ... we cannot make an estimate. If you would like to discuss, please call 1.866.277.6855. I am sure we can help you.

Can I wrap an oil painting with this wrap?

–K.C. 10/21/2014 9:29:33 AM

"It clings only to itself so it shouldn't be a problem, but I would recommend using a layer of protective material in between the painting and the stretch wrap to be safe."

–Ronald 10/24/2014 9:15:57 AM

Is this recycling product?

–Els 4/20/2015 3:57:37 PM

Yes, our Mover's Stretch Wrap can be recycled.

To find out if you can recycle your used stretch wrap, contact your local solid waste company and ask if they accept #4 LLDPE plastic in their recycling program.

Thanks for asking!

Can wrap a dresser, and appliances with this? Is it intended to prevent scratches?

–Michelle 11/15/2015 7:25:27 PM

The purpose is more to bind items together. If you wrap it around enough times, it could act as light protection.

Our advice is to use a furniture pad over your item then secure the pad to the item with the stretch wrap.

–Joseph 11/23/2015 5:20:39 PM

I have several pictures that need to be wrapped & stored. Should i use bubble wrap or stretch plastic wrap?

–Terrance Redman 9/1/2017 6:45:38 AM

Hey, Terrance! I would recommend Enviro-Bubble to wrap and protect your pictures while they are being stored. I hope that is helpful!
