These markers work great for boxes. I prefer Sharpie for many uses but going through many labels and for moving purposes, these are better IMHO. They are cost effective and write smoothly. I can write on labels or just write in large print on the box so I can actually read it. (Or I could wear my glasses, but no.) The two of these usually last me through the boxes I have to move. I am a one bedroom person and I typically use a couple of dozen boxes (or so) to move my excess junk. The box cutter works well. It's a bit weak of a design. I've never had one break on me though. I prefer safety box cutters since I have a hard time seeing and paying attention to what I'm doing. BUT I can get this same day as my other supplies and it works well with the tape that U-Haul sales. I do like that it's small and it retracts rather than folds. The folding ones can be more sturdy but are finger traps for me. I will absolutely buy a new one from U-Haul if the one I've had for about the last three moves gets too dull. So far, so good. I do recommend this. If for nothing else, the convenience of the purchase and the affordability of the item, especially with it packaged with the markers.
