How long does a 5lb propane tank last with this unit on high heat?
Hello Timothy, we have been told you can get up to 96 hours on a 20lb tank. So, maybe 24 hours on a 5lb tank. We do not have exact times since there are variables like elevation in use. Thanks for your question!
Can I rent a portable heater

Does this gas bottle come filled up and what size is the tank in gallons and in weight?
Hello, Sean! The purchase of a Mr. Heater Tank Top Heater does NOT include a propane cylinder - you will need to purchase a tank and take it to your local U-Haul Propane Center to have it filled with propane. This heater can be used with any propane cylinder that has an OPD valve. We recommend using a 20 lb. propane cylinder. A 20 lb. cylinder holds anywhere from 4.5 to 4.8 gallons of propane depending on environmental conditions. I hope that is helpful!
