Safely ship wine or champagne bottles with the Wine Shipping Kit. Kit comes complete with a protective styrofoam base and lid and includes the shipping box. The protective styrofoam base will fit wine or champagne bottles up to 4 inch in diameter (standard and universal bottles).

  • Perfect for shipping standard or universal 750ml size bottles (Kits will not fit magnum or larger size bottles)
  • Each shipping kit includes protective styrofoam base and lid with shipping box
  • Kits are also available to ship 1, 2, 3 or 6 wine bottles at one time

Thinking of using this box inset to send a set of stemmed crystal to another province (in Canada). What are the height and diameter dimensions of these "wine bottle" inserts? Material = soft foam or styrofoam? Available in Canada? If you know others who have used this packing material for stemmed crystal, what was their experience - - safe?

Hi Mike. Our wine shipping kits are about 15" tall on average, but vary slightly depending on whether you purchase the 1, 2, 3, 6, or 12 bottle version. If your wine bottles are 15" tall or less, they should fit just fine.

We would like to have these boxes travel as checked baggage on an airline. Will these boxes hold up to the usual airline handling procedures? Possibly dropped.... How successful are these boxes in protecting wine?

Hi, Doug! The wine boxes are meant to keep the wine or champagne bottles compacted and the Styrofoam gives it that extra protection to be able to withstand airline handling procedures. As far as success we have not had complaints from any of our purchasers. I hope that is helpful!
